Just an image I created from a spiky plant over here.
Today I went to a discussion group for mom's with 8 month children. Jolene is a little older but I went in hopes of finding a mom's group to join. I was invited to one and will probably go this Friday. Jolene during the class dominated all the other children. She was the only one really crawling so she just went around the room visiting each child and then proceeded to crawl on them or take their toy away. We will be trying to teach sharing and "that is not your toy right now" asap. I think this concept might be a difficult one seeing as though selfishness in a baby comes to the surface very quickly in life.
About the title. Jolene and I walked to the library after the class and on the way there saw a interesting women. She was horizontally gifted ( she was overweight by a lot) and was riding on a motorized scooter. Now this isn't usually very funny but it was today because around her feet sat two fluffy, yippy, chihuahuas. They looked at me and seemed to say "make way, here come your equals" , "we are the chihuahuas of the scooter and can go where ever we please". I wish I had a camera : -)
Sarah and I are going to Ikea Wednesday! Heavenly bliss, I think that this store is probably the only one that is actually larger than a Super Wal-Mart.
Tomorrow night all of us from church who went to the evangelism class are going to get together and talk about ways to apply what we have learned, how to encourage each other, and then pray for recent opportunities.
Brandon and I are getting better at the whole serving coffee and tea to people when they come over. The first time we had people over they made it themselves but last Thursday night we did (insert a music clip of fanfare or the Hallelujah chorus). So come on ever!!! We will serve you up a mean cup of tea, coffee, milo, or the like.

Are there a lot of scooter riders in Austrailia? Just curious. Plenty here in PR, but I've never seen any with chihuahuas...
Enjoying your blog...
Anna
We are still working on the sharing thing at 21 months, so start working, but don't get discouraged if it takes a long time... :)
watch out, those chihuahuas might get their own wheels sometime ;)
*sigh. just enjoying life here in chicago. kittens at my feet, working on work. nice. so glad to hear about your adventures :)
haha yeah we're getting used to asking people if they want a "cuppa" when they come over, too. we'll have to come to your home now and see how good you guys are...
The play group is a great idea! There is no quicker way to get to a woman's heart than through her children and probably no better way to stand out than to discuss the value and destiny of children from a Biblical perspective. That's my Meggie.
