Busy days ahead and behind

We are a bit full on right now.

I have netball still and have also signed up for soccer. I can't tell you how good it is to be on the pitch again. My joints and muscles are a bit sore every week from running for two 45 min halves. It is a good feeling though.

I have been playing mostly up front in the striker position. I have had some shots on goal but my feet are still a bit rusty. It is frustrating that my touch is off, looking to the next few games where it will be a bit more on target.

One more thing about soccer. The coach made me captain. Which means I have to deal with all the problems on the field. Kick in motherhood. If there are any problems with the ref I and the coach can talk to him and no one else. A bit more responsibility then what I was expecting. It is a honor. Especially since this is my first year with the team.

Today I had another iPod meeting with some teachers from a local primary school. They liked the first batch of resources enough that they requested more. I was up till almost 2am last night due to the movies I made being messed up and not uploading to the iPods.

*Warning nerd language ahead*

Apparently when I used iShowU the wrong codecs were selected. The codecs were not liked by the iPods and so last night I had to go back and remake all the movies with the correct codecs. Annoying. I'm sure there was a better wa of doing it but last night I just decided to put them into Keynote as a slideshow and then export them as a QuickTime movie for an iPod.

Here are some pics of all the iPods and a great little gadget made by Belkin. The little gadget has 7 usb ports. So you can plug in 7 iPods and have your iTunes library recognize them. Makes for quick file dropping and battery charging. Doing in mass is always great.

This Saturday we are having a garage sale. There was enough stuff left over from my Bush Fire drive up North to have one. I am going to sell all of it and then donate the money to the Fire fund. We are personally selling our old fridge, tv, and a few other odds and ends. With that money we might go out for ice cream and then donate the rest to the Barnabus Fund. Have you heard of this project? If not you should check it out. They support persecuted Christians around the world.

This past weekend we drove our youth group over to Frankston (where the Blackwoods reside) to hang with the youth who live there. I have to say that driving in the car with youth is a great way to get to know them. Once we arrive I am pretty busy getting our children to bed so it is nice to have the two hour car drive for conversation.

Kennet River holiday

Just a quick post, need to go to bed. Brandon's sisters are here for 7 weeks, hooray!

We just got back from visiting Kennet River with them. We saw dolphins this time around (see album 1)! Hiked to two waterfalls, and lots more.

Here are some pics.......
