It is very nice to have some family around. You can talk about things that don't always make it across the skype wire. If you have ever had to communicate with family this way you will understand what I am talking about.
Today we took the ferry form Queensclif to Sorrento to meet up with people from our church and the Frankston church. Abby came along as well as two friends, Mike and Fiona. The water was so blue/green, here are a couple pictures but I don't think they do it justice.
We all went swimming and then had lunch. Unfortunately we were not able to stay as long as others due to the fact that we are leaving for Sydney tomorrow and packing still needs to be done.
As I said we are taking a holiday to Sydney. We will be traveling up the southern coast instead of going inland. We decided to camp two nights on the way up so that the trip is not so stressful on the girls. 12 hours can be a bit much to do in one day for little ones. Once we get to Sydney we will be house sitting for friends of ours while they are away on their own holiday. On the way back we will camp for another two nights. Hopefully we won't have any 42 degree days while we are camping..could be interesting if we do.

I am glad that Abby gets to stay in Aus for a while. It should be grand. I hope she survives all the hot weather. :)
It was nice to see you all yesterday. Twas a fun day. We all ended up sunburnt and tired, but it was worth it.
I hope you have a fun time in Sydney. Hopefully one of these days we will make it up there.

We are all hovering around the computer oogling at the pictures. We have been anticipating a post and were a bit disappointed that it took so long. Cameron wanted me to tell you that he lost his first tooth (and was rightfully rewarded by the "toof fairy". We are having our own heat wave - tomorrow, 60F. LNI goes back to PU tomorrow. Many went to see the B Movie this afternoon while mom and I got some alone time at our old haunts China Buffet and Half Price Books. You guys have to check out this web site: yourememberthat.com - especially the 1960s - there are some great music clips esp from the Beatles, etc. Also, Abbott and Costello. Who's On First and some other funny stuff. Charlotte's mystery disease is going away on its own (the Troll Syndrome)but after she went to the doctor and got a bunch of tests that I have to pay for. The doctor said it was probably some weird virus - that's what they always say when they don't know - I think I should get a refund for advice like that. Mom says to tell you that the doctor said that "you did the right thing by bringing her in." He was baffled by it all and called her an "interesting case". Another reason why I should get a discount.
