We are helping Jolene learn the Ten Commandments during family worship right now. This is a conversation we had with her during one of those times.
Brandon:
"Jolene what is the first commandment?"
Jolene: (with some help)
"You shall have no other gods before me"
Brandon:
"What does this mean?"
Jolene:
"God is number one!"
Brandon:
"Thats right"
Jolene:
"And Adele is one too!"
Brandon:
"Well yes, she is one..."
I think we will keep going over this for a while :-)

Tamara used to NEVER answer the catechism question "what else did God make?" the right way. She'd say, "trees and roads and birds..." but not "God made all things." We still tease her about it. :)
That's too funny! Jocelyn has been talking a whole lot more lately too and we have been teaching her the children's catechism although we have to shorten them some for now.
We started the shorter catechism with Jolene too. We also had to shorten the answers to one or two word answers. I think if we went over it again now we could lengthen the answer a bit but not too much. It is hard enough trying to make her sit for 10 minutes without her turning into a mouse or a dinosaur :-)
That's cute. Jocelyn's more into acting like a monkey right now! She seems to be growing up so fast right now but I love to see every stage! How are you feeling, Meg? When is your due date? Will you guys be back again this summer?
