that was interesting, and sort of rambling, and hard to piece together, but maybe I need to read the book. It's so hard to figure out how everyone else really looks at us.
huh. that's interesting. i am glad that aussies (in this case the one) seem to overall "accept" the U.S. and in fact pretty much enjoy the U.S. instead of people from Europe who seem to overall think we suck. It's good to hear a new perspective. :)

Hmm. Always interesting to read about stereotypes of which you are part of the collective. His observations are, true, but not exactly the whole picture. Culture. It's so hard to understand from the outside!
