Here is what it says to do (me paraphrasing)
1. Cook meat until brown, drain
2. Add remaining ingredients except buns. Heat until bubbly.
I would be interested in trying sloppy joes with the buns added...who knows it might just add a little something.
Yesterday was a pretty warm and sunny day for autumn. The girls and I were outside when Adele started screaming. I ran over to her and she was covered in ants. They were biting and she was very sad. They even got into her mouth. One had clamped down on her tongue and would not let go for anything. Our ants can be horrible on days like those. The sun is a drug to them. They get to working and watch out if you dare get in their path...even if you are a gazillion times bigger then they are. I think they were trying to drag Adele into their tunnels.
Brandon and the girls took a walk the other night and a kitten followed them home. The girls were beside themselves with happiness. "Kitty!!!!". I thought it might be a stray so we let it hang around for two days. Then I took a walk with the girls and it followed us down the street until we passed a certain house. The kitten ran to greet its friend and I realized we are been played. "Sorry girls, we cannot keep the kitten, it lives here". Thankfully they were not sad. I wouldn't mind having a pet but I think I would rather have a dog than a cat. It seems that fewer people are allergic to dogs.
Today was a rather horrid day. I took the girls out to a couple of shops and then to a cafe for lunch with friends. Jolene's attitude was horrible to infinity. Screaming, hitting, going limp, playing the opposite game ("I want a drink", "I don't want a drink"). Grrrrr. At the cafe I finally just strapped her into the pram and put her outside so we could eat in some peace. The plastic flaps in the doorway helped as a barrier against her screams of protest. *sigh* We all have these days as moms but sometimes I wouldn't mind taking a rain check. I know these days are the vital ones in training and correcting but sometimes I think we are in a time warp and the day will never end. I am praying that tomorrow the attitude will be gone and she will have a softer heart.
I am thankful that I can pray about these times, it helps keep my arteries from exploding with anger. I am reminded that wisdom in disciplining, controlling anger, and showing love are things I need to be praying for every morning as I go to work.
Some pics of the girls while we were in Frankston two weeks ago.

Hmph, my comment didn't publish the first time...
That is funny about the sloppy joes! I made them the other day, for the first time in a long time.
Sorry about your not-so-pleasant day. I hope today was much more peaceful for you. I'm sure there are many joys in motherhood that out-weigh even the most unpleasant days.
Thanks so much for coming to Frankston!
Poor Adele! Ants can be soooooo annoying! They seem to go for the children, they know they can't defend themselves or something.
I remember when we used to find stray kittens and take them home and feed them. we usually found out they weren't stray after all. Dogs are great, you should totally get one for the girls.
I hope the rest of your week was better then your horrid day. I am sure it was not very fun.
Aww, your girls are so cute. I remember the days of being dressed alike. It's funny to see mums doing it to their kids now. I think it's very cute...so long as it isn't me
It was great to have you guys come down to Frankston. We really enjoyed it!
Just remember: there is no such thing as a FREE DOG/CAT!
