Starting to get a little crazy

Less than a week before we leave for LA. We packed up all of our clothes and have now officially begun to live out of suitcases. I really don't enjoy living out of suitcases too much. Things always get jumbled and mixed together so you can never find what you are looking for unless you dump everything out. Suitcases need to have plastic dividers to keep your socks separate from your shirts, why hasn't someone invented this yet?

It has been kind of hard to pack the suitcases. We keep finding things laying around the house that need to be packed. Yesterday I remembered that my crockpot was still sitting in the kitchen. Where to pack that? We had already taken the boxes we are shipping with the Blackwoods to Indy, so I'm going to have to try to pack the crockpot in a suitcase. Wish me luck!!!

My sister Shannon is getting married Saturday. The wedding adds another element to the whole week. I'm in charge of the decorating so I'm kind of nervous about getting it done and that is looks nice. I'm also in the wedding, so I need to make sure that I have all of my wedding clothes together. Oh and I am also making some of the rehearsal dinner food. I actually cooked all of that today and froze it. I finished the bouquets and centerpieces last week, it is always nice to get projects done early so you don't feel really really rushed at the end.

I am excited about the wedding! I'm glad that Shan and Josh decided to have it before we left, made it easier and cheaper for us. We would have flown back for it but it would have been expensive. B and I will post pics of the wedding hopefully before we leave for Oz.

We are going to be in LA for two days. Brandon's grandpa is taking us snowboarding at Bear Mnt. I think Brandon is more excited about than I. I There is too much going on right now to even think about the snow. Snowboarding will be a nice way of relaxing before we get on the plane for 18 hours. I just hope neither one of us breaks any bones. That would be a bummer, having a broken arm/leg and having to sit in a plane for so long :-(

Gotta get back to work,

Meg
