Sorry if the grammar and spelling are particularly poor (not that it is every that great to begin with) tonight. Between Adele crying most of the night and feeding Gideon I didn't get much sleep.
Brandon's business trip has finally come. He was gone two days last week and then Tuesday-Friday of this week. This week is crazy for me so it should go quickly despite B being gone. I have four doctor appts., a b-day party, and ballet class. I (and the kids) will be spending the night at a friend's house one night so that only leaves two other nights to deal with.
The machine seems to be in pretty good shape. Brandon and his boss just need to get a few things cleared up and then it will be taken apart and shipped down to Lara where they will put it back together.
The elder elections were held last week. Brandon was not elected. While it is disappointing knowing that there were people who didn't vote for him, we see it as a obvious sign from God that it just wasn't the time. Brandon said he was a bit relieved just because of how big of a commitment it is. I think many people in the church still believe that we are going back to the States in a few years. We haven't really spread the word that we feel that God is leading us to stay here more "permanently" (more than 5 years). Now, of course we are always open to God moving us somewhere else but for now we don't feel that is the case. So the "stay for five year" plan is no longer in place, it is more like we are staying until we feel a strong indication from God to move elsewhere.
Brandon's parents arrive in less then two weeks!
Gideon is growing like the weeds our yard consists of. He is now over 11 lbs. and gained 3cm in length over the past two weeks. I think Jolene gained about 0.5 cm between her 2 and 4 week checkups :-) He is now only waking once during the night to feed! Usually around 2 or 4am. It is so much better when I can get a solid 6 hours of sleep!

praise God, that's awesome to hear about Gideon. also, i know you can and did persevere through this week without B. I don't know how you feel about co-sleeping but Cameron has a side-sleeper attached to my side of the bed which is about 6" shorter than the bed; he started out in that and now I just curl up around him on the mattress and he sleeps next to me. Only recently (two-three weeks) has he been only eating once, and that's maybe 2-4 times a week! So you are BLESSED hehe :) But it's nice and I don't mind as much as he's right next to me so it's easy and I don't have to "get up."
Cameron's growing like a weed too. He is over 15lbs now I think. He was 13lb 14z at the checkup on 7-october, so he's gaining like half a pound to a pound a week! Today we went for a fall walk before the blustery weather blew in, and I faced him "out" on the baby sling, and he loved it so much he fell asleep ;)
If all goes well I'm gettin' a new job this week, praise the Lord...if I do I might be down to see you guys sooner than later.. I'll let you know the details if I get it. Pray that I have favor! Thanks. :)
